I'm passionate about ensuring our communities are safe and healthy. I will continue to focus my efforts on the recovery community, ensuring we have productive programs to address the increasing amount of addiction and mental health issues troubling our residents.
I believe parts of our community have been undervalued, underserved, and underinvested through no fault of our own. We should prioritize building up the youth talent through high-tech training, entrepreneurial grants, and higher education scholarships, so the next generation can take advantage of the many great career opportunities Rochester has to offer.
I'm thankful to the United Way for the partnerships we have created to connect our community to food, housing, emergency financial assistance, and other basic needs.
