Giving Communities

United Way of Olmsted County's Giving Communities unite donors through their shared interests and experiences. Giving Communities gather individudal who are committed to significantly improving the quality of life in their communities through focused philanthropic giving, advocacy and volunteering.





  • Emerging Leaders in Giving gathers young adults and young professionals that are 18+ in Olmsted County and encourages the spirit of philanthropy, leadership and community impact. LEARN MORE HERE.

  • Women United gathers women together who are dedicated to advancing the health and vitality of our community through annual investements, signature programs and events, and volunteerism. This group has a specific focus on improving lives of children and youth in Olmsted County. LEARN MORE HERE.

  • Loyal Contributors  gathers individuals who have given to any United Way for 10 or more years (does not have to be consecutive). Loyal contributors are champions of United Way's dedication to securing the health, education, and financial stability of everyone in Olmsted County. LEARN MORE HERE.











  • Tocqueville Society  recognizes individuals who have given $10,000 or more to United Way through their workplace, through a planned giving option, or through their personal inclincation. LEARN MORE HERE.


  • Hope Legacy Society  honors those who have decided to leave a legacy through a letter of intent or who have already indicated the United Way of Olmsted County as a beneficiary in either their estate plans, retirement assets, stock and bonds assets, trust, or through other planned giving options.
