You can help rewrite the stories of Olmsted County children. As a sponsor of the 13th annual Power of the Purse, you will be a partner in helping children and youth reach their potential in school and the community through school readiness and youth development programs.
United Way of Olmsted County is actively working to improving graduation rates, focusing on children and youth in struggling families. In Olmsted County, 84% of all students graduate on time, but only 70% of students on free or reduced lunch received a diploma. By preparing young children for school and ensuring our youth are achieving important milestones, we’re able to predict their future success as contributing members of the community.
