Celebration of Caring & Giving 2020

United Way’s Annual Celebration of Caring & Giving to POSTPONE April 21st, 2020 event

Following guidelines set forth by Olmsted County Public Health, The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and others, the United Way’s Annual Celebration of Caring & Giving scheduled for April 21st, 2020, will be POSTPONED until September 15th, 2020.

After careful consideration and consultation with our staff, venues, sponsors and longtime partners – we are preparing creatively during these uncertain times to ensure that hard work is recognized and community members feel energized about the important work they are doing.

We want to thank all our donors, partners and volunteers for their continued support, open discussions and encouragement. As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the community comes together and Lives United. For this reason, we fully intend to host a Celebration/Kickoff combination event later in the fall and will be working with our partners to finalize and share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.

*If you are unavailable to attend the event in September and have already purchased your tickets or table, please contact

Updates will be shared via, social media, and e-news.
Be safe, be healthy, and don’t forget to Live United.

Join us on Tuesday, September 15th from 5-7 p.m. at the Rochester International Event Center as we show our gratitude to the incredible partners, volunteers and individuals who dedicate their time, talent and financial resources to help Olmsted County’s families thrive. See the “Power of Local Love in Action” firsthand! Join us for networking, hors d’oeuvres and cash bar, and to learn about the impact YOU make in Olmsted County.
