Winter OuterWear Initiative

Winter in Minnesota can be very long and cold. When a person lacks warm winter outerwear, it can seem even longer and colder! Our goal is to provide 3,300 individuals with winter outerwear this year!

The Winter OuterWear Initiative partners include: United Way of Olmsted County, The Salvation Army, KROC AM and FM, and Dison'sCleaners.

Purpose

The Winter OuterWear Initiative provides winter outerwear items to Olmsted County individuals and families who have no other means to get winter outerwear items. The number of items distributed will be based on the number of items collected through our community partnership.

Volunteer Opportunities for Winter OuterWear

We need over 450 volunteers to help sort and distribute winter outerwear to our 3,300 Olmsted County residents on October 16- 24.

CLICK HERE to register to volunteer or call 507 529-4831 if you need help registering.
