UNITED WAY SERVICES

Most of the goals of United Way of Olmsted County are accomplished through funding awards to partners positioned to achieve the outcomes of Advancing the Common Good 2015.

In a few limited areas, where it makes sense to do so, United Way of Olmsted County provides direct services. Information and registration for these services are available from the menu on the right.

 

2-1-1 Information and Referral Service

Just dial 2-1-1 for thousands of other services and resources, you can receive information and referrals through the United Way/AIRS 2-1-1 phone service.

2-1-1 is free, multilingual, and confidential phone service that is available 24/7/365.

You will speak to a trained information and referral specialist who will help you connect with the services and resources in your community.

Information about a wide-range of human and social services is available, including: disaster relief,senior services, education, childcare, legal assistance, transportation, housing, youth services, employment, food, counseling, family services, volunteering, health services, and much more.

Bridge to Benefits Minnesota

Bridge to Benefits is a project by the Children’s Defense Fund Minnesota to improve the well-being of families and individuals by linking them to public work support programs and tax credits.

To see if you or someone else may be eligible for public work support programs use the Eligibility Screening Tool at this site.
