The community safety net provides a platform for stabilizing people and from which families and individuals may begin to transition to a better life. United Way’s program partners help by providing nutritious food, access to legal representation for civil issues, stabilization of housing, child safety, assistive technology and employment for people with disabilities, and prolonged independence for seniors.
