The Winter OuterWear Initiative provides winter outerwear items to Olmsted County individuals and families who have no other means to get winter outerwear items. The number of items distributed is based on the number of items collected through our community partnership.

• Donate it!  Click here to find out where you can donate new or gently used winter coats and other winter outerwear items before Oct 17.

• Winter COATS - toddler, youth, and x-large adult sizes are most in demand 

• Winter GLOVES & MITTENS - all sizes
• Winter HATS - all sizes
• Winter SCARVES - all sizes
• SNOW PANTS & SNOW SUITS - all sizes
• Winter BOOTS - all sizes

Volunteer.

Your time and energy is needed to make this initiative a success! We need over 300 volunteers to help sort and distribute winter outerwear to our 3000 Olmsted County residents throughout the month of October. Sign up online for a 2 or 3 hour volunteer shift or call 507-529-4831 for more information.
