WINTER OUTERWEAR INITIATIVE
The Winter OuterWear Initiative provides winter outerwear items to Olmsted County individuals and families who have no other means to get winter outerwear items. The number of items distributed is based on the number of items collected through our community partnership.

Your time and energy is needed to make this initiative a success! We need over 300 volunteers to help sort and distribute winter outerwear to our 3000 Olmsted County residents throughout the month of October. Sign up online for a 2 or 3 hour volunteer shift or call 507-529-4831 for more information.
2011 Community Winter OuterWear Initiative Kicks Off
Major Brede proclaims October as Winter OuterWear Drive month and Community Partners break the ice.

Terri Knutson (Mayo Clinic - Mayo Ways of Caring), Mayor Brede (City of Rochester), Mark Dison aka Hangerman (Dison's Cleaners), Percy The Penguin, Brent Ackerman (Cumulus Broadcasting), and Winter OuterWear's spokewoman Aunt Artica break the ice at Annenberg Plaza, Mayo Clinic on September 23rd, 2011.
