United Way of Olmsted County takes a broad, integrated approach to advocacy that provides you with opportunities for issues education, community engagement, public advocacy, and citizen action.

Advocacy is: Wearing the LIVE UNITED t-shirt or button. Letting your friends, neighbors, and colleagues know you support United Way. Sharing with them the Imagination Library, Running Start for School, or Winter Outerwear.

Advocacy is also: Participating in public discussions that have a substantial influence on the availability and delivery of human services in our community is fundamental to United Way of Olmsted County’s ability to achieve community impact.
